Seattle to Index, WA

Kate and I had the quintessential Seattle send-off yesterday with cool temps, cloudy skies, and rain. But we met some wonderful people at every juncture and the route our friend Jim (guy we met outside REI) built for us to Index, WA was a great first ride! And his cabin.. so charming!

Tough ride up Steven's Pass today so we should get after it. As my Dad said multiple times per day back on the farm, "we're burning daylight."
